Introducing the therapist
Omar Kurdi, MA
Working under the principles of Humanistic therapy, I use an integrated approach to create distance between you and your mind. When we understand the thoughts and beliefs we developed earlier in life, it becomes easier to create genuine changes that are meaningful to us. I also teach techniques to tap into our body safely, as this allows us more ease in accessing the darker parts of our psyche.

My approach
My goal is to provide a safe and non-judgemental space to talk about personal matters. Whether it is anxiety or other issues that you are experiencing, my hope is to help you find a strategy that would treat the problem on a core level. My priority is to be a source of support for you to attain a level of mental health and clarity that is helpful to your life now. In our sessions, I am likely to advocate for your empowerment through self-discovery and acceptance.
